Ross said “Tim really fits the bill perfectly,”
“Continuity is key at the moment and Tim brings that.
“I trust the Americans on the board — their heart is in the right place.”
Regarding managing director John Nelms, Ross added: “He is a man who has really bought into the football club.
“In the short-term, at least, he has done a very good job.”
However Ross admits he is sad to see Colvin leave the club “I’m sad to see Bill leave,” he said.
“He’s been brilliant for Dundee but if he couldn’t commit the time it’s probably the right thing that he steps down.
