Spanish Trialist At Dens

Many pessimists said Jim Duffy would change the goalposts at Dens by leaning more towards a home based team and replacing the foreign stars whose skills we have grown to love.

If his first trialist is anything to go by Jim seems set to keep the Revolution on course. He has invited a Spanish left sided defender to join the team party for the tour of Romania. With Marocco injured and little or no cover for that position other than youngsters Forbes or Robb, (who are not defenders), it would make sense to sign a player who can play there.

He is also in talks with other players, according to today's Courier, and as not all are free agents under Bosman rulings it could prove too late for them to make the trip to Romania.
