Raith v Dundee

Dundee travelled to face raith last night with the fifers baying for blood after our last meeting, most dees would have settled for a point pre match,

Craig Robertson made the step up from lochee utd as a trialist and certainly never looked out of place against the league leaders.

The game saw the dee's kicking towards the home end and playing with the confidence you would expect from a team who have now went on along unbeaten run.Dundee were first to threaten when higgins was played in,unfortuately he couldnt make the most of the chance, altho he soon made ammends when played through shortly after when he finished well after a great move, half time saw dundee go in at 1.0 when in reality it should have been 3.0.Infact rovers never threatened big rabs goal in the first half.

Rovers started strongly in the 2nd half and scored from a free kick which in all honesty was not a free kick, however it was a well struck effort, the dees however were still streets ahead and it was no surprise when they basically went straight up the other end and scored once again through higgins, the dees then had an effort from o'donnell kickedoff the line when it looked easier to score, then the same player had a great strike brilliantly saved.

Rovers should have been reduced to ten men after the raith number 6 hacked down riley when already on a yellow, only ref brines knows why the defender was not sent packing.best for the dees all eleven of them, but special mmentions to riley who ran all night, and weston at the back, also big rab for a magnificent stop in injury time.absolute magnificent performance by the dark blues.
