DFCSS Ltd Board Meeting – Minutes
Tuesday 25th February 2014 at 7pm, LRJH Offices.

PC opened meeting at 7.15pm
1. John Burke (DSA Treasurer)
- Thanks given to John Burke for taking on position of DSA Treasurer.
- JB gave the Society board an update on DSA finances and a breakdown of the recent Valentine’s
Dinner.
2. Minutes of last meeting held 27th January 2014.
- Recapped and agreed. PC proposed amendments to 8) Stadium buy back. CF and RD seconded. RD
to publish on website once amended.
3. Action points arising from previous meetings.
a) Society Secretary’s correspondence folder.
- Carried forward.
b) Document of timetable/process/procedures of AGM.
- Carried forward.
4. Update on Finance.
- MT to try to complete all of January’s accounts without JK. This is a large task - JK to guide CF
through the phases.
- PC suggested MT to come to the start of a society meeting to meet everyone (similar to JB’s
attendance).
- No feedback regarding the new payment system (go cardless). Should find out if it’s working when
the BoS statement arrives.
- New bank account – Santander – no cards or internet banking as would result in only one
signatory. Allows direct debits and standing orders to be paid out , receive standing orders in.
There is a £7.50 monthly fee (currently pay £25 per month with RBS). This would allow the society
to bank £1000 in cash per month and all non cash transactions are free. DF to speak to RBS to
receive information about other RBS accounts.
- Change of signatory form given to CF at meeting. CF and BH to be added as signatories. BH
completed form at meeting.
- MJ inquired about budgeting – decided as per last meeting, a meeting will be held to set a budget
for 2014/15 around the beginning of April.
5. Fans Representative/Club Board update.
- CR not present.
- Still no further progress with BBC Journalist since last meeting. CR offered to contact journalist by
email. BH would also be able to contact journalist if required.
- RD has requested KPIs from CR, these used to be supplied so information can be fed back to fans;
this information has not been shared recently.
