Lee Wilkie Impresses Berti!

In the B International match played behind closed doors against Dundee United, Lee Wilkie did his chances of a full Scotland cap no harm at all with an impressive display.

Lee For A Full Cap?
Berti Vogts was full of praise for the 6 feet 4 inch tall central defender, who he has said could be just the type of player he is looking for to play alongside others with different styles and skills.

Lee now awaits his fate. With a tour of Hong Kong coming up in June he is in with a good chance of going with the party and no doubt taking part in some of the matches.

This would be a dream come true for the youngster who was out of favour for most of this season but has came back and played a big part in a revival of sorts which saw Dundee win 4, draw 1, lose 2 of their last 7 matches. Had we shown this kind of form earlier in the season a top 6 place would surely be ours.

Gavin Rae set up Scotland's first goal with a fine ball for Paul Dalglish to chip home. What a boost for Dundee if both players were to end up in the full squad.
