Following the announcement of Ryan Conroy and Jamie Reid earlier today, the club are delighted to announce Iain Davidson, Kevin McBride and James Thomson have joined them in agreeing terms to stay with Dundee.

CEO Scot Gardiner told us, “It's been a very busy and productive day and it was important for us to make sure that most of the 1st team squad was secured before pre-season training starts on Monday. The Manager believes that preparation is vital for any successful team and we have worked together closely to get the boys signed up and back at Dens. We both believe that we are shaping up nicely."

Iain joined the club last summer after turning down the chance of a testimonial season at Raith Rovers to move to Dens. Central midfielder Iain played a big role in the SPL campaign last season scoring once with an unstoppable drive from distance away to Ross County.

Defender James joined the club during the 2011/12 season and last season was a regular for the Under 20s. James made his first team debut as a substitute against Kilmarnock in the final home game of the 2012/13 SPL season.
