JIM DUFFY TO BE NEW DUNDEE MANAGER!

Within 48 hours Dundee will announce the appointment of Jim Duffy as the new Manager to take over from Ivano Bonetti.

Although the news is not official it is well known by those working inside Dens that he is most definitely the man the Marrs have chosen as the new team Boss. A Dundee employee source assures me this is no wild rumour, but fact.

Dundee fans will be torn up the middle by this choice. It's a good few years since Jim last held the reins at Dens and at that time the chairman was Angus Cook. Dundee were so cash strapped that Duffy actually paid some of the players wages out of his own pocket.

I would urge all supporters of the club to at least give the man a chance. He was new to the job then and must have learned in his time in England. Who will join him in the management team is still a mystery. Ocampo somewhere, perhaps Chairman, Smith, Ketsbai, Cameron, Farningham? Raymond has certainly been taking the first team training over the last two games.

If the previous rumours of a boardroom change is true there could be a complete transformation taking place before the season gets underway on August 3rd with Dundee having a new Chairman and management team in post.

Nacho Novo was present at Caird Park today, according to young Andy, the bush kangaroo. So, too, was Carranza, Sara and Speroni who weren't present yesterday. Temuri Ketsbaia was not there, neither was Fabian Caballero who is expected to join the players tomorrow.
