Scotland kicked off in a near empty stadium against a Hong Kong select side containing 4 Brazilians, A Nigerian and a Scotsman, former Dundee player Gary McKeown.

Lee Wilkie wins his second cap, and played from the start. Steven Thomson his opposite number from across the road also gained another cap.

Scott Severin has two chances in the first 10 minutes and both are blocked. Christian Dailly brings a great save out of Chun-Yip in the 15th minute.

KEVIN KYLE gives Scotland the lead with a sweet volley from 9 yards out. This goal came in the 23rd minute and 14 minutes later more joy for the Scots as Dundee United striker STEVEN THOMSON manages to send a right foot shot past the keeper to make the score 2-0.

In 51 minutes skipper CHRISTIAN DAILLY heads home a 3rd goal from a Scott Gemmill cross. Then in 72 minutes Dailly dribbles round the Hong Kong keeper before squaring the ball for SCOTT GEMMILL to knock home. Is this his first ever goal for Scotland?

With 13 minutes left to play United goalkeeper Paul Gallacher replaces Douglas to gain his first cap.

In the 80th minute Hong Kong’s Skipper ex Dundee player Gary McKeown came close with a fine drive.
