Gazza Move Still A Possibility!

Dundee F.C. still secretly hope that Paul Gascoigne could still be a Dee in time for the derby next week. Whether Giorgi Nemsadze will still be in a dark blue jersey by then is doubtful.

New sponsor Tom McCallum and Peter Marr are still in pursuit of the colourful Geordie and despite denials by Jim Duffy that the deal is off, he is still being sought after.

I know it's irksome for readers but once again I can't give out my source. People's jobs are on the line here if I did.  Let me assure you Dundee are still trying to bring Gazza to Dens, possibly as a replacement for Nemsadze.

The latest on the Giorgi saga is that Dundee are demanding a minimum £1.2 million, Celtic are prepared to offer £750,000. If they don't up their offer (and I for one hope they don't) Giorgi will be a Dee until January at least. Celtic have hardly been off the telephone all week with regards to the Nemsadze deal. I think a lot depends on their new interest in Berger from Liverpool, though I doubt if they'd get him for less than £1.2 million.
