Falkirk Tickets Sold Out

Last updated : 09 March 2003 By Dave Webster
Radio Tay today claimed fans began queuing up from 7.00 a.m. this morning. Others claim one guy, sleeping bag in hand, came straight from the boozer at 1.30 in the morning, 11.5 hours before tickets became on sale, and slept out in the cold of a March night in order to guarantee his ticket for the Falkirk match. This has to touch the heart of any Dee. No toilet facilites laid on by Dundee, the Bobby Cox wall must have came in very handy.

Thanks to James Hegarty for this pic of the fans
in the queue

It's like old times again, with Dundee having a good run for many years and tickets going so fast.   Sadly, many regular fans didn't get tickets.   The posts are going up on the messageboard asking if anyone has ticket they don't need.

It's Dee Fever, it's cup fever, and all we need now is a decent result against Falkirk.

I passed the scene at 11.50 before the shop was opened and the queue was as far back as Tannadice even then.
