Stirling will be without injured captain Ross Forsyth and are also still missing Scott Buist and midfielder Ryan Borris through injury and suspension.

Albion have sunk to the bottom of the table and been knocked out of the Scottish Cup.

Dundee interim manager Barry Smith: "Playing Stirling away was my first game in charge and we got a draw that day.

"They are difficult opponents and a hard team to break down but we are playing with a lot more confidence now so I want a win.

"It would be great to head into the festive period still undefeated and with another three points tucked away."

Stirling Albion manager John O'Neill: "This will be a test but it is a game we are looking forward to.

"Our legs will be fresh, we have done well against Dundee in the past and will look to do so again.

"Dundee are on a good run but it is important that we start to pick up points and get away from the bottom of the table."
