Saturday saw the dee's entertain partick at dens,the game exploded in the 24th minute,when the jags striker raced clear,he rounded big rab and as the keeper went to ground so did the jags striker,however if there was a villain it was lockwood,who was side by side with the striker.
The ref stunned the big goalie and the whole of dens park when he sent rab off,the big keeper was incensed and rightly so.Thistle made the new keeper touch the ball for the first time as he picked the ball out of the net.
Despite being a man down the dens parkers rolled up there sleeves and more than made a contest of it for the remainder of the game,so much so that only a couple of remarakable saves from the thistle goalie prevented the dees levelling before half time,
The dees continued in the same form after the break and it appeared that they would make the team from the west coast rue not making there numerical advantage pay.
However the jags held out for their first away points of the season whilst the dees are still looking for their first home win of the season,the apparent lack of a decent striker is plain for all to see at dens,and if they want to avoid the drop then that must be addressed as soon as possible.
