Dundee v Pars

Dundee entertained dunfermline tonight at dens, vying to keep their unbeaten run going. The dees started the brighter of the two teams and introduced Hyde to play alongside young Leighton up front.O'donnell missed out through injury.Have to say at this point that the officals were very poor for both teams, the derry linesman was inept to say the least, and continued to play on at least twice when players were at least four to five yards offside, and the ref continually blowing for fouls if any player stuck his back side out, whilst happy to allow assults from the back and in one case a near strangle hold on nicky riley.

Back to the game and it was the pars who took the lead, dundee allowed the pars midfielder to run yards unchallenged and then rifle the ball past big rab from all of 35 yards,no wonder big rab was furious, that said it was a fine strike,no more scoring in the first half was to happen.

On to the second half and the pars were coming into the game and starting to boss the midfield especially.Hyde had a half chance as dundee were trying to get their selfs together, then Weston was fouled and then at the first opportunity he extracted revenge by hammering into the pars player who had injured him.shortly after Weston was replaced by Robertson who was playing his last game as a trialist. Then the dees had a free kick from about 25 yards and made the fatal mistake of only putting one player in the wall when gary harkins was lying the ball up,result a vicious free kick whipped in and  Hyde was on hand to header the ball over the line, toyet again send the dee support into a frenzy.man of the match in my opinion Gary Harkins-what a player
