Dundee v Cowdenbeath

Dundee welcomed Cowdenbeath to dens on saturday,in a game that was never ever going to be a walk over for the hosts.

Dundee started playing towards the shankly stand and the game started evenly then Cowden went ahead early in the game with a header from crawford that left big rab with no chance, they then continued to make chances before Hyde bulleted a header home from a Riley cross.Riley was once again having a good game and his full of running style will be badly missed when he serves his suspension next week at raith.

The first half ended all square and Cowden once again moved a head in the second half, somehow Dundee had to step up an extra gear and did just that when Forsyth capitalised on a defenders error and slipped the ball across the front of goal and that man Hyde was once again on hand to slot home from close in,and so the game ended all square at two all,and its quite evident that the dark blues are running on sheer will to survive, the coming games will prove the biggest test of all when irvine and riley both miss the visit to raith through suspension, and no trialists will be available to play, yes dundee moove onto 23 games unbeaten and although people see that they are tired and weary, how many will write their chance's off at raith?not to many i would expect, yes it wont be pretty but im sure the team will dig in with grit and determination at starks park next saturday.
