DUNDEE TO LAUNCH NEW TV STATION

Dundee Football Club is poised to launch its own TV station in a bold move
which will enable supporters to keep up to date with all the latest news and
views at the club.

The club have struck a deal with digital media company New Media to supply
and install 37 state-of-the-art digi-TV screens throughout Dens, in home and
away stands and concourses, hospitality suites, lounges, executive boxes and
the club shop.

Dubbed "Dundee TV", the new station will broadcast live interviews with
players and coaching staff, features, player profiles and a comprehensive
results and analysis service at half-time and full-time.

The money-spinning deal won't cost the Dark Blues a penny - the programme
content will be supported by advertising and will help generate additional
revenue for the club.

Work is going on at the moment to install the screens and the club aims to
launch the new station in time for the next top-six home game at Dens.

Commercial Director Jim Connor said : "The big clubs north and south of the
border are increasingly looking to the potential of running their own match
day TV stations and it makes perfect sense for Dundee to be part of this new
wave of information and entertainment.

"We've been working on this for some time and are convinced it's a very good
deal for the club - we will be able to offer our fans and sponsors their
own, up-to-the minute TV station with Dark Blue news and views.

"At the same time, the new station will generate cash for the club by
offering competitive advertising opportunities for local and national
businesses who want to be associated with our high-profile.

"I'm delighted that before Dundee TV has even been launched, we've managed
to secure several year-long, advance advertising bookings from businesses
keen to be part of this groundbreaking new station."
