Dundee 25-point penalty to stand

Dundee have failed to overturn the 25-point penalty meted out by the Scottish Football League for going into administration for the second time.The Dark Blues had their appeal against the punishment heard at Hampden but the points deduction was upheld.

Dundee will now drop to the foot of Division One with a total of one point.

On a run of four consecutive wins, Dundee are 11 points adrift of ninth-place Stirling Albion, who have played two games fewer.

Administrator Bryan Jackson has been running the club since 8 October.
