DONS, PARS AND DEES IN CUT PRICE FOOTBALL OFFER

Aberdeen, Dundee and Dunfermline have joined forces to offer their
supporters guaranteed cut-price football at away games - the first time such
a venture has been tried in the SPL.

The move means that Dons, Dees and Pars season ticket holders will now get
10% discount on pay-at-the-gate prices when travelling to league fixtures
involving the three clubs.

The trio say it's an experimental scheme aimed at boosting SPL attendances
- and making football more affordable for travelling fans. The plan was
hatched following a recent meeting of Keith Wyness, John Yorkston and Jim
Connor.

"We hope this is just the start of a more attractive pricing structure in
the SPL and that in time we might be able to persuade more of our SPL
colleagues to join us in this scheme," said a spokesman for the three clubs.

"It means supporters of our three clubs will get guaranteed cut price
admission to away games at Pittodrie, East End Park and Dens, simply by
producing their season ticket books.

"It's a simple idea, but one which we hope will catch on quickly."
