Dundee extended their unbeaten run to 18 league games as they secured a 0-0 draw at Partick.

In an even first half, Dee went close through Gary Harkins who headed wide after eight minutes and Stephen O'Donnell whose long-range volley was well saved by Thistle goalkeeper Scott Fox.

The home side's best opportunity came 21 minutes in when Chris Erskine volleyed wide from six yards.

Both sides continued to create and fail to take chances in the second period.

Firstly, Dundee substitute Graham Bayne fired wide from six yards on the hour mark just moments after coming on before Partick's Kris Doolan missed from 12 yards.

Thistle's Paul Paton nearly won it a minute from time but volleyed wide when well placed inside the box.
