All roads led to dingwall on saturday as the dees made the long twisting trip to the highlands.A very healthy away crowd made the trip to cheer on the dark blues.Dundee lined up rab, mckeown, benedictus, lockwood, irvine, weston, odonnel, riley ,harkins, macintosh, forsyth,

The game a surprising pre season friendly look about it in the first half, and there was few chances at each end,ex dee milne probally had the first halfs best chance.

The second half was much better however and to be true the dees  goal survived a barrage at time, but county lacked the cutting edge infront of big rabs goal, and how the home side would come to rue their missed chances when young leighton chased down a ball towards the county keeper, the goalie tried to kick upfield but his clearance was blocked then the dee striker who then got to the ball first to put the dark blues ahead and send the dees travelling support wild with delight, the chants off 25 point wasnt enough was now bellowing out the dundee fans throats.Enter gary harkins who then started to run the show with some delightful ball skills, while the dees ran the clock down to secure the three points which guaranteed dundee's safety in the first divison next season.
