Raith v Dundee

Dundee once again carried a very large support to fife for this game, that was always going to test us to the limit. The dee's started very well with Irvine in particular impressive.

Raith huffed and puffed but were seldon threatening big rab in the dundee goal, infact some of their shooting was dire to say the least.Bartlett was looking good especially when he pushed the ball past defenders. It was raith who drew first blood however when two mins from half timeTade appeared to handle before drilling the ball past big rab  beaten him at his near hand post. This was the refs first big mistake but in fairness the stand side lines man should have noticed the hand ball.

Into the second half and Dundee started to get into the match after they won a succession of corner kicks, the travelling fans errupted when O'donnell fired in a great equaliser from a very hard angle, this coming minutes after Raith headed the ball off the line, then madness took over the refs brain when he sent off mckweon for a foul that was just that and nothing else, this decison infuriated the dundee bench and support. To make matters worse the ball got cleared up the park and Mcintosh went for a header with the defender and with the dundee fans expecting a free kick the ref awarded it to Raith who then scored from the resulting move.Very hard for the fans and players to lose their record in this manner ,but im sure they will kick back next week against Stirling Albion.
