Poor Finishing Leaves Dundee To Face Tricky Replay

Last updated : 06 January 2002 By Dave Webster
Lack of finishing power in front of goal cost Dundee dearly today in a game they almost totally dominated from start to the 89th minute.

Dundee created many good chances in this game and at times the gap between SPL and First Division looked as wide as the River Tay. Stevie Milne scored a fantastic goal for Dundee but some apparant sitters missed before this cost Dundee dearly. But it's goals that count and in the end Falkirk equalised with their first shot on target in the entire match with one minute left to play. And it was woeful defending that cost Dundee the tie.

One highlight of the match was the dazzling skills of Beto Carranza.
