Dundee FC Supporters' Society have welcomed the appointment of Dundee FC's new Chief Executive Officer, Scot Gardiner.

"All three Society representatives have met with Scot on several occasions, including at several recent matches - as have the rest of the club board - and we are confident that with his strong commercial background both inside and outside of football, Scot will be a valuable asset to the club at a time when it is looking to grow revenue streams and attract investment."

All at Dundee Mad would also like to take the opportunity to welcome Scot to the club and to wish him every success in his new role as he endeavours to return Dundee FC to former glories. Nobody underestimates the size of the task ahead but Scot's CV certainly seems to suggest he's a fantastic appointment who stands every chance of realising our ambitions as the recovery from administration continues.

With successful stints under his belt at both Rangers FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC, as well as a proven track record as a businessman in his own right, Scot has a wealth of experience and contacts throughout the sporting and business communities which we hope will ease his task over the coming months and benefit the club in the long term.
