Falkirk v Dundee

Last updated : 19 September 2011 By Shaded

Saturday saw the dark blues travel to falkirk, weston was on the bench and mcgregor stared in his place.odonnel was missing through suspension after getting sent off last week against raith.

Dundee were spreading the ball left toright then bringing nickey riley into play at any opportunity and he certainly was giving the falkirk defence something to think about, big rab never had much to do in the first half and right on half time savo milne struck to put the dees in 1.0 up at half time, the dees without a doubt controlled the first half.

Dundee came out  and started where they left off with graham bayne seeing a superb shot cannon of the bar.mcgregor then had a header cleared of the line, the dens parkers were really well on top but couldnt put the ball in the net and paid the price when weatherspoon brought the scores level, worse was to follow when  about ten mins later falkirk took advantage of a mix up when big rab appeared to bounce off a falkirk player, and the falkirk center forward made no mistake as he headed the bairns into the lead with about 4 mins remaining, the dee then had a a chance to draw level but it ended with a 2.1 defeat,in a game the dark blues controlled and infact never really missed odonnell against a very poor falkirk side.
