Saturday saw the dees travel east end park,hours after receiving the twenty five point penalty.the dees showed that despite the penalty getting upheld that they were still in great spirits and indeed took another step to survival,and on this gritty performanve few would bet against the dens men doing just that.
The pars took the game to the dees in the first half,but couldnt press home their advantage,and when higgins got sent off right at the start of the second half for a stupid lunge then most in the east end park crowd would have thought the den parkers would fold.
Any one thinking this had to think again however as the dens parkers dug in and fought for every scrap.Indeed dundee coud have snatched a late winner when riley had a great shot that just missed making the net bulge.The travelling support were in fine voice throughout the game backing their hero's 100%
A great display by the dens men full of courage and grit,the players are certainly up for catching the stragglers in this divison and it would be a very brave man indeed to bet against them not catching up and indeed getting safe by the end of the season.
