Dundee entertained killie in the televised early kick off game in the scottish cup.Dundee were kicking down the slope in the first half against their spl opponents.

Dundee were getting to the ball first and not allowing killie to start playing, and indeed the dark blues had several great chances,as killie struggled to get into the game.

The dees appeared to have made a break through when milne scored after running onto a through ball, the ref and linesman gave the goal but the fourth offical intervened and deemed correctly that chisholm had touched the ball on its way to milne redering milne offside,no matter how harsh the decison seemed at the time tv replays showed that the officals were correct in chalking the goal off.

Killie were really struggling to get into he game and it was a major surprise when they opened the scoring, there goal came from a corner that mckeown failed to keep track of his man who was left a free header past rab douglas,Dundees ineptitude at defending corners would surface at least another six times before the game finished.

rae and chisholm both then went close for dundee, but it was the visitors who headed up the tunnel at half time with a 1`.0 lead.

Dundee were shooting towards the coxy stand in the second half and within 30 seconds the dees were level, when milne finished well after a strong rae run and a great cross ball from conroy, the killie keeper then had two great saves in a minute the first from milne and then a great save from a conroy header,he then capped his day off by saving a very poor matt lockwood penalty.

big rab then had a good save pushing over and then killie troubled thehome defence with a series of corner kicks that the dees were struggling to deal with all day.

All in all the dees must be disappointed by not winning the game at the first time of asking but this tie is far from over, top marks to the dees for taking this game to killie and making them look quite ordinary and beatable.
