It'll be Everton's first trip to Dens Park in over a century.
Club director John Nelms has previously hinted at an informal link between the two clubs.
“Everton said that they would love to have some of their players playing up in Scotland,” he said.
“And, for us, we would love to have some of them with us at Dens.
“In the future, you may even see Scottish players from these type of clubs coming back up to gain experience.
“This will be the first of many trips up and down the road — we want to strengthen our relationships with a number of clubs.
“Everton is just the first club in this process. There will be many others, too.”
