“It’s something we have to put to the back burner right now,” he said.
“We want to see where we are at the end of the season.
“We have to see where the season takes us.”
However the manager is keen on Paul McGinn and Greg Stewart signing longer-term contracts.
He said: “Greg and Paul are players we want to hang on to for a lot longer.
“We have been talking with both of them.
“They are here for another year and a bit but they are players we want to keep for a lot longer.”
