The Bonetti Diaries July 20th 2008 Mamma Mia, Here I Go Again. Movano Bonetti again with the latest on the Dees. The goals have all of a suddenly well dried up as we take on higher class opposition ( and Aberdeen). The Sheep Shankers had much experience on the field, including Scott Severins - when he left the Jam Hearts how much Severins pay did he get ? Anyways, the game finished up like my neighbours' well varnished table - no score. Ok, you maybe would have got more excitement if you were a litter picker in Croydon High Street, but at least it was better than staying in the house gazing at the novel. The big news of the night was the half time announcement that Rayne Farrell had signed Colin Cameron from MK Dons. Mind you, that's not the first anyone's taken the Mickey out of Milton Keynes. The Wolves game was very tough - what's up with these guys ? Have they all been taking the same vitamins as Duane Chambers or what ? More muscles than Brighton beach. Even the wee men were huge. What accents , though . I have some flash 70's gear to offload so after the game, I ask one of the Wolves players if he fancied a kipper tie - he says " Yes please, milk and one sugar ". What's that all about ? Anyways, I'm delightful that the season improper start next Saturday, getting well fed up of that cricket lark. Decided to watch the latest version of the game tonight - 19/19 - that's for the partially sighted. You know it makes census. The tennis wasn't much better, though - I go down to Wimbledon for couple of days. I bought a new tie especially . Its got strawberries on it - I should take more care when I'm eating. Roll on Bradford on Tuesday. Ciao, Benny and Javier nice day. .
