Snow Patrol help Dundee Mad

Last updated : 21 October 2005 By Dundee Mad Admin
Dundee Mad are delighted to announce that we have taken delivery of a Junior sized Fender Stratocaster from the band Snow Patrol.

The band, who reached number 3 in the album charts with their last album Final Straw, took time out from finishing their new album to send the guitar (pictured below) in order that we could use it to raise funds for Dee4Life.

At this stage we are looking for ideas on how best to raise a good sum of money and if anyone out there has an idea that they think will maximise the fundraising please let us know ASAP. On Monday we will be deciding what to do and how best to utilise this fantastic gift.

The picture above will be updated with new pics and Snow Patrol are also sending over a picture of singer Gary Lightbody and guitarist Nathan Connoly with the guitar to prove authenticity.

The guitar is red/white and is complete with all the autographs from the guys in the band and the message "Dee4Life....with love...Snow Patrol...2005".

Hopefully the later pictures will do it more justice as it really is a smart item, either for a budding rock star or as a home decoration.

So come on guys, send in your ideas on how we can best use the guitar to raise funds to dundeemad@ntlworld.com

Dundee Mad would like to thank Snow Patrol, and Tom Simpson in particular, for this fantastic gesture. It is very much appreciated.
