Dundee v Queen Of The South

Last updated : 16 September 2006 By Dee Mad
Today Dundee take on Queen Of The South with a vital three points at stake.

With last weeks demolition of Gretna fresh in the minds, Dark Blue fans will be heading to Dens expecting another victory. This is where we usually fall flat on our faces after a good victory. Today we will see if last weeks performance was a one off or the level that can be expected now the experienced players are back.

Manager Alex Rae has said all along we'd be a better team with everyone fit and now we will find out. Winning at Gretna will mean nothing if we can't win at Dens and in the opposition dugout is a man who never had much success against Dundee as manager of the funny coloured team from across the road. Last season however we had the shoe shitter dancing a merry jig round the dugout after his team won 3-2 at Dens in a nightmare encounter.

Wee Burney will bring his side to Dundee hoping for a repeat of that victory and its up to all in the Dark Blue to make sure he goes home a little less happy in his broon brogues today.

Dundee Mad prediction

Dundee 2-0 Queen of the South
