Play for your club against Dundee United fans

How would you like the opportunity to play for a Dee 4 Life team against Arab Trust at Dens on Saturday 22nd July in the GP Builders Supporters Challenge Cup, which takes place before the big derby next month?

The two trusts have combined forces and arranged an eleven-a-side game for fans before the professional game for the Evening Telegraph Challenge Cup in association with Radio Tay. Kick-off scheduled at 2pm.

All funds raised by Dee 4 Life will go towards the shareholding fundraising campaign.

There are only 13 places available by auction (11 outfield players - including a substitute - , one goalkeeper and one non playing manager) at a minimum bid of £25.

The match will last 30 minutes (15 minutes each way) and in the event of a tie, a penalty shootout will determine the winners who will receive a commemorative trophy kindly donated by Graham Pert of GP Builders.

Participants will receive a commemmorative t-shirt, a medal, souvenir photograph and a DVD copy of the match.

Players must be aged between 16 and 55 and either sex can apply. However to take part in the auction all bids must be made by persons over 18 years of age.

Bidding is taking place until Friday 14th July. Bidders should register online at

Bidding will be strictly controlled and frivolous bids removed from the site. Details of how the bidding is going will also be published in the local press between Monday 26th June and Friday 14th July.

Successful bidders will be advised by Saturday 15th July about insurance liability details and payment must be received by Monday 17th July. In event of non-payment by this deadline, the next highest bidder will be offered a place.
