Fans Trust Dee4life today announced details of their latest investment in Dundee F.C.

Dee4Life are to fund the under 19 and under 17 youth teams at least until the end of the season at a cost of around £30,000.The deal shall see the Trust part with funds on a monthly basis and cover the cost of running both of Gordon Wallaces successful youth teams.

Both teams shall be wearing Club strips emblazoned with the Trust Dee4Life logo in future games. Trust Secretary Scott Glenday said – ‘we are delighted that the combination of our hard work and the continued generosity of the fans allows us to be in a position to make such a move’ .He added that ‘the Club are now heavily relying on Gordon to continue to provide players from the youth ranks for first team duty. We feel that investing in the Club and supporting Youth Development is an appropriate use of funds that shall be well received by all who contributed. Recently players such as Paul Dixon, Kevin McDonald, Craig O’Reilly, Scott Murray and Scott Gates have made the step up and we recognise the importance and value of a strong Youth set up at the Club’.

The Trust who are the Clubs second biggest shareholder are to receive further shares in return for this latest initiative. Continued support of the Youth infrastructure has been identified as one of the primary objectives of future Trust investments.




Trust AGM is at 11am on Saturday 26th November in the Penman Lounge at Dens Park Stadium.
