Dee4Life Hands Over Share Money - Exclusive

Last updated : 01 October 2007 By Dundee Mad
Dundee Mad can exclusively reveal that nearly 18 months after fundraising began to purchase a 26% share in Dundee Football Club, the £150,000 plus that was raised has finally been handed over to the club.

Given the efforts all round to gather the money we thought it might be worth a mention in the local papers, the official website or even Dee4Life's own website. Surprisingly we can't find a single word announcing what amounts to Dee4Life becoming the single biggest shareholder in the club.

We think that it is both great news with regard to the clubs future and a very important milestone in the recovery process after administration.

We also think a simple, but public, thankyou from Dundee FC's board of directors to Dee4Life might be in order given that the money has been handed over despite the absence of a share certificate at this stage. The money has been handed over on trust.

Well Done Dee4life but why has this not been shouted from the rooftops?
