There are to be a few new additions to the playing staff over the summer, but one new addition at Dens next season in a different form will be that of an Ultras group.
Dark Blue 62's sole aim is to provide Dundee with a colourful and vibrant support. Whether it be with banners, large flags, confetti or coloured cards, DB62's objective will be to give as much backing to the players as possible.
The group's debut season will be the campaign of 2007/08. Due to being Scotland's newest Ultras group the task that lies ahead is a large one. We need as much support and co-operation from fellow Dundee supporters as possible. Our website will be used to provide information and news on up-and-coming events and/or displays.
As we do more, pictures will also begin to appear on the site.
To finish, we would like to point out that in no shape or form are we a hooligan organisation, nor do we have any links to one. Our door is always open to new members of any age. We are also working towards building a relationship with the club.
We will be located in the South Enclosure at Dens so please feel free to come and introduce yourself.
Hopefully this project becomes a success and we can make the Dundee support known as one of Britain's best.
