Bonetti Diaries July 9,2008 Mamma Mia, Here I Go Again, Movano here with my thoughts on the Dees in 2008/09. Well Rayne Farrell and the squad flew back from Malta on the airline that pioneered the Mile High Club, Air Cunnilingus . No mishaps coming home although when they were coming through customs and asked if they had anything to declare, Brian "Deazo" Deasley replied "Yes, I had a lovely time and would love to go back". Anyways, the lads first game back in Bony Scotland was against the mighty Table Endies at Lynx Park. Big diappointment. I didn't see one wild cat. Plenty of wild birds, mind you , especially falling out of the Neppy and the Southesk Inn, but that's another story. A fine 3-0 scoreline against one of the top teams in Montrose is not to be sneezed at , especially with 3 crackers from Deazo , Paul McHale Hale and Michel Antoine-Telegraph. Deazo's came after a fine run and deft shot, Michel's was of Thierry Henry class and Macca's was a rocket of a daisy cutter. Like a good ship's captain, the ball never left the deck. Despite a number of good individual appearances, the man of the match was Jim Lauchlan. I compare him to Kaiser Franz Beckenbauer, but with a tan, and he bestrode the stage like a colossus. Sign him, I say. Next up are the even mightier Stirling West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday and the Blue Alan Brazils themselves, Cowdenbeath on Saturday. Roll on the start of the season. Ciao, Benny and Javier nice day. Movano.
