Dundee will be heartened by the return to fitness of Beto Carranza and Marcello Marocco in time for the Motherwell game tomorrow.

Ivano is likely to start off with the team that beat 3rd top Livingstone on Wednesday night, though the pair could be included on the bench.

Magic Man Close To Return
The wee magician, Beto, has never been short of admirers among the Dens Park support and the reporter on Hibs.net raved about the wee man earlier in the season. All fans of pure football love to see him in action. When he's on form he can be both entertaining and creative, though at times flamboyance replaces the common sense approach. But few would deny Beto his God given right to strut his stuff on any stage. The Editor confesses (as if you didn't know), that he's a star struck 51 year old when watching this man play. Well, why should the bairns hae a' the fun. I hiv his autograph and Paul Walker supplied the pic, eh'm a Dundonesian dark blue fan, you'd better believe it.   Beto speaks a universal language that all football fans can identify with and respect.   You're amazing to watch, Beto Carranza. Welcome back, wee man, you have the ingenuity of an Einstein and the heart of a Lion.   Top 6 is maybe beyond us for this season, but take us to the Promised Land next time round.

Marcello Marocco is another whose fighting spirit and will to win is respected by the Dark Blue faithful, and it's good to see him close to a return to action. I have to say, though, that big Massimo Beghetto has not let Dundee down since arriving in October last year and his overlapping and sweet left foot has been a joy to watch. But the return of Marcello gives Ivano two Italian born left sided defenders to choose from and this can't be a bad thing. Nice to see you return, Marcello, and in time to knock United off their perch.
